Coming soon: NHSBSA Contract Register published on the Open Data Portal
4 June 2025In the coming weeks, the NHS Business Services Authority (NHSBSA) Commercial Services team will be publishing its Contract Register on the Open Data Portal.
What will be published?
The Contract Register provides details of the goods and services procured by the NHSBSA and delivered by third party providers.
The data will include:
- Supplier name: identifying the organisations we work with
- Description of goods or services: detailing what has been purchased
- Contract start and end dates: providing visibility of the agreement duration
- Contract value: showing the financial commitment
- Category details: indicating the type of goods or services procured
A dedicated, generic email address will also be published for any queries or clarifications needed relating to the data.
No personal data about NHSBSA employees will be included. The publication will focus solely on procurement information, respecting our colleague’s privacy and adhering to data protection standards.
The Contract Register data will be updated quarterly to ensure the data is as up to date as possible.
Why it will be published?
The NHSBSA is committed to transparency and accountability in the use of public funds. By making our Contract Register publicly accessible, we can demonstrate how we spend public money and provide greater visibility of our procurement activities.
Together with the NHSBSA Commercial Pipeline, our Contract Register gives potential suppliers visibility of upcoming opportunities to work with us and information on the how we have spent public money in the past.
