For each of the last ten calendar years can you please state (i) how many prescriptions for paracetamol (04.07.01) have been issued by the NHS in England and (ii) what has been the cost of those prescriptions, and (iii) the cost per item dispensed.

Our PCA data shows figures for items dispensed in the community in England and is published in the OPD with calendar year data going back to 2014.

Note: To look at all Paracetamol in BNF 040701 you need to to filter on the BNF Chemical Substance of Paracetamol and then filter the BNF Paragraph Code to show only 040701.
