The lowest granularity of data in the publication for both financial and calendar year is added here. PCA contains information on all prescription items dispensed in England and submitted to the NHSBSA for reimbursement.

It was identified that data had been assigned to the incorrect SNOMED code in the Prescription Cost Analysis (PCA) Annual Statistics data release for Prescription Cost Analysis (PCA) - Financial Year 2022/23. This is due to products being assigned the pack level SNOMED code in March instead of the product level SNOMED code.
This issue has now been fixed and the correct data for Prescription Cost Analysis (PCA) - Financial Year 2022/23 is now available from this page
