Coming soon: Urgent Dental Appointments dataset
23 July 2025We are pausing the planned release of monthly urgent dental treatment data.
This decision has been made to allow further review and reflection on the methodology, including an assessment of whether the statistics meet the highest standards of public value.
We will provide an update with a new publication date once more information is available.
Please note that the 2024/25 annual data will still be published as part of Dental Statistics – England 2024/25 on 28 August 2025, in full alignment with the standards set out in the Code of Practice for Statistics.
This page originally set out our intention to publish monthly urgent dental treatment data. That content has now been removed in line with the decision to pause publication. A news article will be posted once a new publication date is confirmed.
