Advisory on 100 Hour Pharmacy Flagging

A recent enquiry highlighted that the latest dataset of pharmacies showed an increase in the number of pharmacies marked with a 100 hour flag.

Please note that this is due a data cleanse in the NHSBSA organisational database, where pharmacies that had undergone change of ownership hadn’t had the 100 hour status updated to the new owner. Consequently, 21 contractors were amended in the source database, which resulted in them appearing as 'new’ 100 hour pharmacies in the most recent release.

This matter has now been addressed, and future datasets will accurately reflect ownership changes.
