Dataset Description
The dataset provides details of the NHSBSA’s planned procurement activity for any goods or service with an anticipated value of £10,000 or more. The data will include details of the goods and services to be procured, anticipated timelines and common procurement vocabulary category details.
Service Overview
Commercial Services are responsible for supporting colleagues across the NHSBSA in all aspects of procurement and contract management, from pre-procurement planning through to contract award and beyond.
The team also negotiates changes to existing contracts, provides commercial advice across the business, and provides supplier relationship management services to ensure our suppliers meet their performance targets throughout the contract lifecycle.
Data Collection
The data is collected from the information entered by the NHSBSA Commercial Services Team into the Atamis procurement application. This data meets the requirements of the UK Government Commercial Function Commercial Pipeline Guidance V7: Commercial Pipeline Guidance V7 (HTML) - GOV.UK (www.gov.uk)

The data will be refreshed quarterly and is a live view of the NHSBSA Commercial Pipeline at the point of publication.

The commercial pipeline is a forward look at potential commercial activity. The eventual procurement and implementation of projects will be dependent upon completion of business case and other approvals, and subject to change in the light of prioritisation and budgetary circumstances.
