Thank you for your request for information about the following:
Dear NHS Business Services Authority,
I understand, according to Newspaper reports that some NHS Doctors and Nurses now pay about £1,000 a year to park at their place of work (a Hospital).
I write to ask under the Freedom of Information Act as to the number of car parking spaces provided for NHSBSA staff parking at their place of work at the below listed NHSBSA building, and if such car parking spaces are provided, what is the daily charge levied for such car parking?
Stella House, Goldcrest Way, Newburn Riverside, Newcastle upon Tyne.
Your request was received on 13th February 2023 and I am dealing with it under the terms of the Freedom of Information Act 2000.
Response
As of February 2023, the number of car parking spaces at Stella House is 266. There are no charges levied to park currently.
