Under Freedom of Information, I would like to request the number of Total Entitled Beneficiaries (e.g. those receiving payments) to Healthy Start in England, Northern Ireland and Wales for the months of April 2022, May 2022, June, 2022, July 2022, August 2022 and September 2022.

On 21 October 2022 you clarified the following:

When I use the term beneficiary, I am referring to the household or adult claimant actively receiving the payments.

The data published on the NHS Healthy Start website up to March 2022 relates to beneficiaries, i.e. the person who the benefit is meant for (the child or pregnant person).

Data relating to the scheme from April 2022 onwards is provided as number of households. This relates to the household or adult claimant actively receiving the payments. There could be multiple beneficiaries living within one household. Therefore, data provided by household is not comparable to data by beneficiary.

The data attached is reported as of the final day of each month.
