Thank you for your request for information about the following:
‘I am writing to request the following information on active GP pension records held by NHSBSA in each of these financial years: 2018/19, 2019/20, 2020/21, 2021/22.
a. What was the total number of active GP pension records held by NHSBSA in each year?
b. How many of these GP pension records were incomplete in each year?
Please provide the information by the individual financial years listed. If you need any clarification of this request, please contact me on the email address or telephone number provided.’
On 12 September 2022 you clarified your request as follows
'• Are General Dental Practitioners to be included? ''No – GPs only''
• Employment type (GP) will be based on the members most recent post. If they have historically been a GP, but are currently working as a consultant for example, they will not be in scope. ''This is fine''
• By ‘Active GP Pension records’ does that mean they still need to be active today, or does it only matter if they were active in the year in question? If they aren’t active today then by definition they will have had their records completed and closed down, but they will still form part of the total numbers for the years in question. ''No – just active in the year in question'
On 23 September 2022 you clarified your request as follows
'Please just provide the figures for how many GP (general practitioners only) pension records are incomplete as of today. '
Your clarified request was received on 23 September 2022, and I am dealing with it under the terms of the Freedom of Information Act 2000.
