I am writing to confirm that I have now completed my search for the information which you requested on 27 August 2022 as outlined below:
‘Can you confirm that you have written to all pensioner members who are affected by retire and return pension easements who have:
1) retired and returned to work
2) chosen to draw down part of their benefits regarding the end to these easements on November 2022. Please can you tell me:
a) How many scheme members have you contacted in relation to the upcoming changes? b) How many scheme members could be impacted by the upcoming changes?’
Response
Due to the Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC)’s consultation (which closed on the 13 September 2022) to extend the relaxation of the re-employment regulations to 31 March 2023, we have not yet written to affected pensioners, until we have confirmation of the outcome of this consultation. Once that is complete we will contact all relevant pensioners.
