Response

  1. In 2022, the average time between an application being entered on the GHIC system and the card being dispatched is 3.42 days.

  2. The longest time between an application being entered on the GHIC system and the card being despatched in 2022 is 198 days.

  3. The number of GHIC cards applied for in 2022 is 5,087,388. Please note that this is the number of applications and includes situations where an individual may have made multiple applications.

  4. Of the applications we received in 2022, 4,538,937 have been successful. Again, please note that this is the number of applications, not people. Individuals may have made multiple applications.
