‘Could I please request a breakdown of influenza vaccinations administered to patients by GP surgeries, in the same format as the "Dataset" page of "Advanced Service Flu report - Pharmacy Contractors" on Catalyst; i.e. the month, GP site code, vaccine and quantity. If this is possible, then could the data please be provided for the past 3 years/flu seasons (2019-2022).’

Below is a link to publicly available data that should meet your requirements and can be found in the Open Data Portal.

For information on English prescribing data issued in England and dispensed in England, Wales, Scotland, Guernsey, Alderney, Jersey, and the Isle of Man.

Dataset: English Prescribing Dataset (EPD)

The data covers the period requested i.e. January 2019 – May 2022 is available.

This is presentation level data showing the practice, CCG, STP and region for what has been prescribed in England by GP practices or cost centres. Please note the STP in this dataset will be the STP linked to the prescribing organisation, this data does not include any information about where the items were dispensed.

This dataset will also provide the quantity. Filtering on BNF chemical substance – 1404000H0 or Chemical substance BNF Descr – Influenza, will provide all influenza vaccines.
