I am making a request to both Supply Chain and NHSBSA, in the event the information is more relevant to one of you. Please can you provide me with data relating to the sale of NHS hearing Aids and associated services (check ups etc..) by location, to include both NHS and private businesses that support NHS Prescriptions or partially funded hearing aid and related treatments I would be looking for, Volume of Sales (Contract % or £ value) type of service (Product/CheckUP etc...) Location information (address, Name, Brand, Owner or responsible person) PVI or LA filter and Contact information where possible (Email Address/Phone number, Web Link)

I am writing to advise you that following a search of our paper and electronic records, I have established that the information you requested is not held by the NHS Business Services Authority. This is because Hearing Aids are not listed in Drug Tariff Part IX appliance section and therefore are not allowed to be prescribed on an NHS prescription.
