The NHSBSA makes payments for covid vaccinations to Pharmacies in England. Covid vaccination data is keyed in via Point of Care (POC) Systems and they transferred to the NHSBSA Manage Your Service (MYS) application. Each month, vaccine providers submit claims to request payment based on the data that has been transferred into MYS. To be paid in a timely fashion such claims must be submitted during a specified declaration submission period. Should claims be submitted outside the time windows, payments will be made later. This means that in some cases there is a difference between the number of vaccines that have been 'claimed' and the number that have been 'paid'.
The number of 'claimed' vaccinations has been reported in this request.
Data included in this request is given as held. The data held is for the dispenser who was paid for the vaccine, given in the PAYMENT_DISP_CODE field. This code has been joined to the latest data in the NHSBSA data warehouse to give the DISP_NAME, DISP_ADDRESS and DISP_POSTCODE fields. Data for Vaccine Sites is given by the VACCINATION_SITE_ODS with name and address information again given by the latest data held in the NHSBSA data warehouse. Note that blank fields mean no data is held. Where the vaccination site is blank, this may or may not indicate that the vaccinations were performed at a different site, but we cannot make such assumptions about the data. Information about the site is as associated with the dose at the time that NHSBSA received information about it. When site data changed on the day of vaccination the more recent site data is used. If you have queries about any given entry or contractor, please contact the contractors directly.
The latest data used is a snapshot of the MYS system data that was taken on 8 June 2022. This is the snapshot of data taken after the June submission period that was used to calculate payments.
Vaccination records are limited to those which have been associated with a declaration submission.
