Request
I am writing to make a Freedom of Information request of all information you hold regarding the funds derived from the Immigration Health Surcharge (IHS).
The information I wish for you to disclose:
-
From 2015, when the scheme came into place till present, how many visas have been granted that have required the payment of IHS? And how much has it amounted to in total?
-
Along with this, I need a year by year break-up of the above information, visas granted (the various kinds), the amount charged and the total IHS collected that year.
-
Please also share the guide through which the IHS costs have been derived? Is it still 150% tariff on the actual NHS cost? How is it calculated? I am referring to the present £624/£470 per
year as well as previous £400/£300 per year costs.
- Finally, how do the IHS funds get spent? Which authority receives it, and what has it been spent on? Please provide this information too from time the scheme started in 2015 till now.
