Request
In an email sent on 2nd December to Jennifer Bainbridge I asked for a copy of the notes that were taken at the focus groups and asked that my request be considered under the Freedom of Information Act. Jennifer followed up and promised that minutes would be made available and on that basis my request was not considered under the Act. It is unfortunate that the release of minutes has been delayed for so long and this has the potential to undo any good that could come from community engagement activity like these focus groups.
Given the delay in releasing the minutes I would like to revisit my request and exercise my rights under the Freedom of Information Act to request copies of the notes taken at the focus groups. I would point out that the meetings were attended by members of the public and so I cannot really see any reason why these cannot be released immediately with formal minutes to follow once they have been finalised.
