I would like to make a request for the following information relating to the NHS ESR Programme. Could you please confirm the following:

1. The Software Licence capital investment made to support this ESR programme including the annual recurring maintenance cost for this software licence from the start of the programme (in £)

2. The annual SaaS Hosting services to support the software investment for ESR from the start of the programme

3. The annual System Integrator cost to support the software investment for ESR from the start of the programme (in £)

If any of this is outside the scope of the FOIA, please answer what you can and advise and assist on the best way to uncover the information.

The software licence and maintenance cost is currently included within the prime supplier costs – refer to question 3.

Question 2

ESR does not operate on a SaaS Platform. Therefore, this information is not held.

Question 3

The current ESR contract is second generation with the prime supplier IBM, with an average annual contract value of £36.6m.
