Column 1 – Date (Month/Year)
Column 2 – Pharmacy Name
Column 3 – ODS Code
Column 4 – Pharmacy Group Name
Column 5 – Postcode
Column 6 – Safeguarding Payment Paid

The data provided covers payments made between January 2019 - February 2022. February 2022 being the most recent month available.
Definitions
Payment Date
The date that the contractors were paid.
Please note - There were no payments made in January 2019, previous payment was made on 31st December 2018
Schedule Date
The date that the payments relate to, recorded as YYYYMM.
Please note - Due to the time taken to submit, process and make payments, the payment date is approximately two months after the activities for which the payments relate.
Group Code - An internal code to uniquely identify the groups.
Group Name - the group to which the NHSBSA records have the contractor as currently belonging to.
If the Group Name is empty, this means that there is no record of a current group for that contractor.
Temporary Safeguarding Payment Amount - The amount of money in GBP paid to the contractor as per Part XIVC of the drug tariff - Temporary Safeguarding Payments

The NHSBSA have never received/processed a claim type 1 – additional advance. All temporary safeguarding claims made have been type 2 – claim for loss of items
Note that a negative figure indicates money deducted from the contractor. This is the result of an unsuccessful claim.
Due to Covid-19, July 2020 submissions (Payment Date 01 October 2020) were the last where negative payments were calculated against pharmacies making unsuccessful claims.
