Question 1
As of 12 January 2022, the total number of COVID-19 claims for a vaccine damage payment is 663.
Question 2
We are not able to give a comprehensive breakdown on the vaccine manufacturer. This is because this information is not currently required on the Vaccine Damage Payment Scheme (VDPS) claim form and therefore is not recorded.
Question 3
As of 12 January 2022, historical data for all claims, not just those relating to COVID-19 vaccinations:
a) The total number of claims registered is 7,212.
b) The total number of awards made is 946.The total number of claims rejected is 5,524.
c) The total number of claims pending a final decision is 742.
d) The total paid out in claims is £75,230,000.00.
