How many have received their revised pension statement to cover the remedial period for the above time period?
How many have received their backpay of benefits and lump sum for 2015 scheme being converted back to 1995 and interest payable from the above time period?
How many pensioners are remaining in this cohort to receive their remedial statements?
What is the expected timeframe for releasing this information?
How many pensioners in this cohort have also applied for a CETV as part of a divorce settlement?
How many pensioners in this cohort having applied for CETV are still waiting for their remedial statements to finalise their finances before applying for their divorce?’
Date Range: 1 May 2021 to 31 May 2021
The NHS Business Services Authority (NHSBSA) received your request on 29 December 2025.
We have handled your request under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 (FOIA).
Our response
There are 257 McCloud members who have both a 1995 and a 2015 benefit payable in May 2021. None have currently received their RSS; therefore, none have received any remedial benefits.
Of the 257, none have applied for a CETV as part of a divorce settlement.
What is the expected timeframe for releasing this information?
I am writing to advise you that the information you requested is not currently held by the NHSBSA. The revised timetable is still to be confirmed by the DHSC, and it will be published in due course.
Technical complexities extending beyond the NHS Pension Scheme have affected delivery timelines for RSS. NHSBSA continues to do everything possible to issue RSS as quickly as possible to all affected members.
The new timelines for RSS delivery will continue to prioritise statements for those most likely to be at detriment as a result of McCloud.
A revised McCloud delivery timetable will be published on the NHSBSA website as soon as it is available and regular updates will be provided to Scheme members.
