Under the Freedom of Information Act, I would like to request the following information:

Please provide the total number of full-time equivalent (FTE) posts for all NHS staff employed under Agenda for Change (AfC) in England in the most recent period for which you have data (e.g. April 2025), broken down by AfC Band and High Cost Area Supplement (HCAS) rate (general England rate, HCAS inner, HCAS outer, and HCAS fringe).

The resulting information should be presented in a table describing how many FTE employees there are in each Band, by HCAS rate - e.g. 5,000 FTE staff employed in Band 2, of which 500 are HCAS inner, 300 are HCAS outer, 200 are HCAS fringe etc.
