How many staff are employed in the Health and Safety Team (People) Including any vacant positions

There is currently a total of seven employees within the Safety and Safeguarding team, with one vacancy for a Health and Safety Advisor.

The job titles and pay banding of staff in the Health and Safety Team (People)

Pay bands and job titles for posts in the Safety and Safeguarding team are as follows:

People Safety and Safeguarding Lead Band 8b, 1 position

Health and Safety Manager Band 8a, 1 position

Senior Health and Safety Advisor Band 7, 1 position

Colleague Experience Advisor Band 6, 1 position

Health and Safety Advisor Band 5, 2 positions

Safety and Safeguarding Coordinator Band 4, 1 position

The qualifications held by staff in the Health and Safety Team (People)

The new Safety and Safeguarding Team cover a broad remit including different professional specialisms and so the team members come from a diverse range of professional backgrounds, with a wide variety of qualifications and experience.

Qualifications required for the roles in the team vary depending on the role (examples include Graduate IOSH, NEBOSH General Certificate, NEBOSH Diploma, Lead Auditor qualification (OHSAS 18001 and/or ISO 14001), NVQ Level 3 Business Administration, 5 GCSEs A*-C), and equivalent experience is also accepted.
