Information on the current protocol for dealing with patients who are in active addiction but also have mental health issues. Are patients seen by mental health providers while in active addiction or are they sent to a separate service? Are mental health providers (for mild to moderate care - e.g., talking therapies) trained on dealing with patients with addiction issues?
