Data Dictionary

Column	Title	Type	Description
REPORTING_YEAR	Financial Year	string	The financial year associated with the 'Year Month' dimension in the format 'YYYY/YYYY' e.g. 2018/2019 for 201804.
COUNTRY_NAME	Country Name	string	The country name where the contract is located, based on the contract postcode.
LATEST_REGION_DESCRIPTION	Region Description	string	Latest name associated with the Region. .
COMMISSIONER_NAME	Commissioner Name	string	This is the name associated with the Commissioning Organisation.
CONTRACT_NUMBER	Contract Number	integer	This is a unique 10 character number which identifies a contract
LATEST_PROVIDER_NAME	Provider Name	string	The name of the provider.
LATEST_PPC_FULL_ADDRESS	Principal Practice Address - Lines 1-6	string	This is the main address used for correspondence between the NHSBSA and the dental contract, it is not necessarily the address where treatment takes place.
CONTRACT_TYPE	Contract Type	string	Either GDS – General Dental Services, PDS – Personal Dental Services or PDS Plus – Personal Dental Services Plus
LATEST_CONTRACT_START_DATE	Contract Start Date	date	The start date of the contract, as recorded on CoMPASS.
CONTRACT_END_DATE	Contract End Date	date	Any end date of the contract, as recorded on CoMPASS.
UDA_FINANCIAL_VALUE	UDA Financial Value	integer	The financial value associated with the UDA performance target for the financial year, as entered on CoMPASS by the PCO.
UDA_PERFORMANCE_TARGET	UDA Performance Target	integer	The contracted units of dental activity to be achieved for the year, as entered on CoMPASS by the PCO.
UOA_PERFORMANCE_TARGET	UOA Performance Target	integer	The contracted units of orthodontic activity to be achieved for the year, as entered on CoMPASS by the PCO.
UOA_FINANCIAL_VALUE	UOA Financial Value	integer	The financial value associated with the UOA performance target for the financial year, as entered on CoMPASS by the PCO.
PAID_BY_BSA	Paid by BSA	string	Y/N. Set to 'Y' where the Pilot tick box is ticked within CoMPASS. Therefore Not Paid by BSA are Trust Community Dental Contracts .
