Request
1) How many Transitional Tax Free Amount Certificate (TTFAC) applications have been received by NHSBA since 6th April 2024, broken down monthly if possible, or total if not possible.
2) How many TTFAC have been issued in the same period, again broken down monthly if possible, or total if not possible.
Response
I can confirm that the NHSBSA holds the information you have requested, and a copy of the information is attached.
Please read the below notes to ensure correct understanding of the data.
The table attached reflects the volumes of TTFAC applications received, and subsequent TTFAC issued since 06/04/2024
Members may be counted multiple times if they have made multiple applications in different months.
For McCloud affected members it is only possible to issue a TTFAC after the member has returned the Remediable Service Statement (RSS) and made their choice, so some applications may currently be pended.
Some cases may be rejected, in which case no TTFAC will be issued.
