Please note that only hospital trusts prescribing data that has been dispensed in the community is available in this dataset. It excludes dispensing within hospitals. The column TOTAL_QUANTITY provides the total quantity of each drug prescribed for that month (if prescribed and submitted to the NHSBSA).
