I can confirm that the NHSBSA holds the information you have requested and a copy of the information and notes explaining it is attached.
Please read the below notes to ensure correct understanding of the data.
We have interpreted “NHS spending on medical treatment abroad for GHIC and EHIC cardholders” as instances where the NHSBSA has processed claims to other countries via UK GHIC/UK EHIC entitlements that have been approved for payment.
We have converted currencies to GB Pound, using the value on the date the individual treatment claim was approved for payment.
People who are entitled to NHS are treated equally, whether this is in the UK or abroad.
