I am writing to request information under the Freedom of Information Act regarding the number of employees within your organisation based in the Northeast Region of England broken down by job title. Specifically, I would like to request a comprehensive list of all job titles held by employees within NHS BSA [Northeast Region] as well as the corresponding number of employees assigned to each respective title. To be clear I’m not asking for employees names just the job title. This information will be used for research purposes and to better understand the staffing structure within your organisation.
The NHS Business Services Authority (NHSBSA) received your request on 8 January 2025. We wrote to you on 30 January 2025 seeking clarification and you responded with the below on 14 February 2025:
Could you please provide the information for the north east and the wider organisation UK wide as well if possible.

The information provided is related to the site base of NHSBSA employees. Please note that the majority of NHSBSA employees are hybrid workers and therefore may not live in the same area of the country as their site base.

The figures provided are headcount for each position and not full-time equivalence.
