Please provide by pharmacy listing the Name, Address, Postcode and ODS code for each pharmacy, the number of claims made to the NHS BSA and the payment made to individual pharmacy contractors for the Pharmacy First service separated for urgent repeat medicines supply, minor illness consultations and Clinical Pathways consultations, set up fees and the £1000 monthly payment.

I would, therefore, be grateful if you would help us with the following queries:

1) The original request asks for a breakdown by pharmacy. However, your email on Wednesday 8 January 2025 states you want this grouped by ICB. Please can you confirm which of these you would like?

2) Please can you also confirm the date range for the request? Please note that October 2024 is our most recent data set.

You responded with the below on Tuesday 21 January 2025:

1) By pharmacy, with pharmacies grouped by ICB.

2) All payments made after Tuesday 1 September 2023 as originally stated. If there is no data, please provide months where there is data up to the most recent data set available.

Number of Claims:

Under Section 21 of the FOIA we are not required to provide information in response to a request if it is already reasonably accessible to you.

To locate the data:

Under the subheading 'Reports', expand the 'Pharmacy and appliance contractor dispensing data' section

Select one of the files (e.g. Oct 2024 (2.4MB)) and open the dataset

This is broken down by contractor, as per the request.

The request asked for the number of claims for 'urgent repeat medicines supply, minor illness consultations and Clinical Pathways consultations'.

This dataset contains the following columns: 'NumberofPharmacyFirstUrgentMedicineSupplyConsultations' 'NumberofPharmacyFirstMinorIllnessReferralConsultations' 'NumberofPharmacyFirstClinicalPathwaysConsultations-' for each of the common conditions

Data Source The data source was the NHSBSA Information Services Data Warehouse.

Time period The time period covered is September 2023 to October 2024.

Organisation Data The organisation data is limited to pharmacies in England and presented at dispensing level

The data shows payment information for Pharmacy First (PF) services including: • initial fixed payments • payments for Clinical Pathways (CP) • payments for Minor Illness (MI) • payments for Urgent Repeat Medicine Supply (UMS)

All payment information is in Great British Pounds (GBP).
