The NHS Business Services Authority (NHSBSA) received your request on 30 December 2024.

We have handled your request under the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) 2000.

Our response

A copy of the information is attached. This is a summary report which incorporates the questions posed in the survey, along with the responses provided.

Please note, the survey was reviewed in February 2024 so content will be slightly different to the previous report as some questions were removed and new questions added.

Time Frame

1 July 2024 to 31 December 2024.

Free-text responses

NHSBSA holds free-text responses for some of the questions asked in the survey. Respondents were advised before completing the survey that responses would remain confidential, and we believe that disclosing the responses which were typed in would be a breach of confidentiality.

Please note that the identification of individuals is also a breach of the common law duty of confidence. An individual who has been identified could make a claim against the NHSBSA for the disclosure of the confidential information.

The information requested is therefore being withheld as it falls under the exemption in section 41(1) ‘Information provided in confidence’ of the Freedom of Information Act.
