As NHSBSA do not hold the age of those who are eligible for the scheme, we then clarified with you whether you would like data on the number of successful applications broken down by the requested ages.
I can confirm we would like the data on the number of successful applications broken down by the ages we previously requested.
The NHS Business Services Authority (NHSBSA) received your clarified request on 23 July 2024.
We have handled your request under the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) 2000.
Our response
I can confirm that the NHSBSA holds the information you have requested and a copy of the information and notes explaining it is attached.
This includes all successful applications to the digital application process per month from April 2022 – July 2024. These are then broken into two categories, those 24 & Under and those 25 & Over. These are the applicants ages at the time of a successful application.
