I am writing in connection with your request for information under the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) 2000, which was received by the NHS Business Services Authority (NHSBSA) on 27 June 2024.
Request
You asked us:
I am instructed on behalf of an NHS Trust and would like to make an FOI request for a list of vacancies between 1 February 2023 until 1 February 2024 for all NHS Trusts within the locations of Warwickshire, Birmingham, Worcestershire, Northamptonshire, Leicestershire, and Oxfordshire. Should this cover too wide a location, please could you let me know and we will seek to narrow down the location criteria.
I would be grateful if this could cover roles for Physician Associates or similar roles at Band 6/7.
I am requesting this information as it is relevant to an employment tribunal claim and the Claimant’s potential to mitigate her losses between the above dates. As you will appreciate, I am unable to provide more specific details as to the relevant parties due to confidentiality. As this information has already been in the public domain, I would be grateful if you could provide it in a table format setting out the following information:
• Name of organisation
• Vacancy reference number
• Job title
• Salary
• Date published
• Date closed
• Duration (i.e. permanent/fixed term for X months)
• Part time/full time
• Vacancy site (i.e. the hospital/site the position was held)
There is a due to be remedy hearing in September 2024 and so we would be extremely grateful for a response prior to this so that the information may be considered by the Tribunal.
We then asked for clarification on this request regarding the following on 17 July 2024
Counties are not all populated within our vacancies table. Would you be able to provide a more specific list of locations please, e.g. towns or postcodes.
You clarified this on 17 July 2024 with the following:
Please could you confirm whether you are able to provide a list of relevant vacancies in respect of the following locations:
• Warwick;
• Birmingham;
• Worcester;
• Nottingham;

• Leicester.
