Caveats/Comments:
Any staff with any employment history with a GP are flagged as practice staff. All others are ‘Officers and Practitioners’; the member may not be in one of the respective roles at the time of the query.
In the event of a member claiming multiple awards, the award with the earliest payable date is assessed.
‘Within 30 days’ is determined by assessing number of days between award payable date, and the pay date on the first issued payslip. In the event a member has already been in receipt of a previous award, this will automatically be in payment prior to the award being assessed.
The data provided in this FOI response counts all members including those working in clinical and non-clinical roles.
Definitions:
GP Staff – A member who has at least one employment with a GP Practice. For the purpose of this FOI, all other members are defined as ‘Officer or Practitioner’
First Award - An award which has been put into payment, and hasn’t subsequently been revised. It does not mean it is the first award the member has received.
Revised Award – An award which has had the benefit revised due to a change in information (i.e. final pay, last day of service etc.)
Last Day of Service – The last day of pensionable service prior to award payable date
In-Service – An award being claimed from active service, rather than deferment.
