‘Under the Freedom of Information Act 2000, I am seeking detailed information regarding NHS dental contract providers in England and Wales for the contract year 2022-2023.

My request includes:

List of NHS Dental Contract Providers (such as dental practices): A comprehensive list of all NHS dental contract providers across the UK that did not meet their UDA targets during the 2022-2023 contract year.

UDA Targets and Performance:

The UDA target set for each provider.

The UDA value assigned to each provider.

The actual number of UDAs completed by each provider.

The number of UDAs not completed by each provider.

Financial Implications:

The 'clawback' value for each provider.

The scheduled date(s) for clawback collection.

Previous Year Comparison: The UDA value and target for each contract holder for the previous contract year (2021-2022).

Dental Practice Management Software: The name of the Dental Practice Management Software used by each provider to submit claims.

Organisation Data Service (ODS) Codes: The ODS code associated with each provider, where available.

Contact Information: The address and postcode for each dental practice associated with the individual provider, in separate columns.

Please provide the information in an electronic format, such as a spreadsheet, for ease of analysis.’

Contract Number: This is a unique 10 character number which identifies a contract. We have limited this to contracts reconciled by the NHSBSA that delivered under 90% of their annual contracted UDA target in 22/23.

Latest Provider Name: The latest name of the provider.

Provider Number: The latest number of the provider.

PPC Location V Code: The V code associated with the Principle Practice and Correspondence Address. This is based on the location ID associated with the Principle Practice and Correspondence Address.

Latest Principal Practice Address Lines 1 through 5 and postcode: are the latest Principal Practice Address associated with the Contract.

UDA 2223 Contracted Target: UDA Annual Contracted Target for 22/23 taken from Eden (unless edited by Caseworker in line with commissioner instruction).

UDA 2223 Rate (£): 'UDA Financial Value' for 22/23 divided by 'UDA Annual Contracted Target' (unless edited by Caseworker in line with commissioner instruction).

UDA 2223 Financial Value (£): UDA Financial Value for 22/23 taken from Eden (unless edited by Caseworker in line with commissioner instruction).

UDA 2223 Adjusted Delivered Total: 'UDA Delivered' for 22/23 according to Eden including 'UDA Brought Forward from previous year' (if applicable) (unless edited by Caseworker in line with commissioner instruction).

UDA 2223 Undelivered: Number of UDAs that were undelivered in 22/23 as calculated by UDA 2223 Adjusted Delivered Total minus UDA 2223 Adjusted Delivered Total.

UDA 2223 Financial Recovery Total (£): Sum of all performance adjustments and cost adjustments for 22/23.

UDA 2122 Contracted Target: UDA Annual Contracted Target for 21/22 taken from Eden.

UDA 2122 Financial Value (£): UDA Financial Value for 21/22 taken from Eden.

UDA 2122 Rate (£): 'UDA Financial Value' for 21/22 divided by 'UDA 2122 Contracted Target'.

1st instalment through 11th instalment: the scheduled Instalment Dates for UPS_2223, ADJ_2223, UPS_2223_O, ADJ_2223_O payment request types. This doesn’t include instalments added to compass by the Commissioner. The scheduled date is reflected: the payment date will be in the following month. Only scheduled dates for the current financial year have been included, dates that spill over into the following year are not included.
