Response

Following a search of our paper and electronic records, I have established that the information you’ve requested is not held by the NHS Business Services Authority.

Awards can be revised for numerous reasons, a revised award doesn’t always mean an employer has submitted revised information.

Awards can be revised following notification of a change in pay or service but this doesn’t mean that the initial information provided was inaccurate or late. For example, in the event of multiple part time posts, an employer could submit a change that results in a revised award.

For members retiring from active service, it is standard for awards to be calculated using estimated figures provided by the employer because final pay figures won’t be known if a member is still in service.
