Provide the total number of First Awards awarded with a last day of pensionable service between 1st April 2023 to 30th September 2023 inclusive
Questions 3 refers to all NHSPS Pension Scheme members:
Provide the total number of in service 1st pension awards (all types) where the payable date was between 1st April 2023 to 30th September 2023 inclusive where benefits were awarded within 30 days of the payable date

A copy of the information is attached. Please read the below notes to ensure correct understanding of the data.
1. Any staff with any employment history with a GP are flagged as practice staff. All others are ‘Officers and Practitioners’.
2. In the event of a member claiming multiple awards, the award with the earliest payable date is assessed.
3. Last Day of Service (LDOS) is determined by looking at the termination date of the latest post prior to the award payable date.
4. ‘In Service’ is determined by the LDOS terminating within 2 days prior to the award payable date.
