Response
I am writing to advise you that following a search of our paper and electronic records, I have established that the information you requested is not held by the NHS Business Services.
PCN enquiry letters are only issued when a valid exemption has not been found, therefore there are no PCNs issued to those with a valid exemption. With regards to the number of people who have received a PCN and then subsequently applied for medical exemption - this information is not held by NHSBSA as there is no way to determine this from the data we hold.
