Please provide an estimate of the total moneys NHS England has or is currently attempting to claw back from primary care NHS dental practices in England which did not met their contractual targets in each of the financial years, 2018/19 to 2022/23.

Data is based on payment codes which relate to under-performance for financial years, and so these figures are subject to change, as monies for under-performance can be taken at any time. The codes included and the financial years they relate to are as per ‘FOI 01402 payment codes.csv’.

Definitions

Payment Request Type: The code under which the payment has been made.

Payment Request Name: The description entered into CoMPASS which provides details on the nature of the payment.

Financial Year: The financial year which the under-performance relates to.

Under-performance (£): The amount of monies in pounds, which were for under-performance.
