If this is not final due to the ongoing year-end reconciliation process, please can I have the latest figures for delivery, irrespective of reconciliation?

Guidance Notes – ENGLAND

Data refers to contracts in England as shown on CoMPASS.

Only contracts reconciled by the NHSBSA are included in this report.

At the time of this report contracts are currently within the 28-day query period. This means the data is not yet finalised and is subject to change.

Some contracts have not yet been reconciled as they are awaiting local calculation due to their involvement in local schemes/initiatives.

Data refers to UDA (Units of Dental Activity) and UOA (Units of Orthodontic Activity) metrics and activity as shown on CoMPASS.

Reporting Year: The financial year which the activity/contracted services relate to - to be used for year-end reporting.

Contract Number: This is a unique 10-character number which identifies a contract.

Latest Provider Name: The name of the provider.

Current Commissioner Code/Name: This is the 3-character code and name associated with the Commissioning Organisation. This a generic term used to denote health bodies, either Area Teams in England or Health Boards in Wales. Also known as Primary Care Organisations (PCOs).

Current Region Name: This is the current region name associated with the contract.

Status Notes: Status flag for contracts pending local calculation.

UDA Performance Target (22/23): The contracted units of general dental activity to be achieved for the 22/23 reporting year. This figure is taken directly from the CoMPASS system (unless edited by Caseworker in line with Cat2 instruction).

UDA Adjusted Delivered Total: 'UDA Adjusted Delivered Q1' plus 'UDA Adjusted Delivered Q2-Q4'

UDA Adjusted Delivered (%) Total: 'UDA Adjusted Delivered' divided by 'UDA Annual Contracted Target' multiplied by 100.

Total Underdelivered UDA: If 'UDA Adjusted Delivered Total' is less than 'UDA Contracted Target' then 'UDA Contracted Target' minus 'UDA Adjusted Delivered Total' (if not then 0).

Data refers to contracts in Wales as shown on CoMPASS.

Data refers to UDA (Units of Dental Activity) and UOA (Units of Orthodontic Activity) metrics and activity as shown on CoMPASS.

Data in this page does not refer to carry forward UDA and UOA as there are currently no entries on CoMPASS for 23/24.

Reporting Year: The financial year which the activity/contracted services relate to - to be used for year-end reporting.

Contract Number: This is a unique 10-character number which identifies a contract.

Provider Name: The name of the provider.

PPC Full Address: This is the full address of the main address used for correspondence between the NHSBSA and the dental contract, it is not necessarily the address where treatment takes place.

Commissioner Name: This is the 3-character code associated with the Commissioning Organisation. This a generic term used to denote health bodies, either Area Teams in England or Health Boards in Wales. Also known as Primary Care Organisations (PCOs).

UDA Value (22/23): Total UDA Financial Value divided by the UDA Performance Target, for the 22/23 reporting year.

UOA Performance Target (22/23): The contracted units of general orthodontic activity to be achieved for the 22/23 reporting year. This figure is taken directly from the CoMPASS system.

UOA Financial Value (22/23): The total value associated with the contracted units of orthodontic activity for the 22/23 reporting year, as entered on CoMPASS.

UOA Delivered - FYTD (22/23): The total number of units of orthodontic activity achieved in the 22/23 reporting year to date.

UOA Undelivered - FYTD (22/23): The total number of units of orthodontic activity not achieved within the UOA Performance Target, in the 22/23 reporting year to date (UOA Performance Target - UOA Delivered).

UOA Value (22/23): Total UOA Financial Value divided by the UOA Performance Target, for the 22/23 reporting year.
