For the financial years 2019/2020, 2020/2021 and 2021/2022 please provide the individual pensionable pay reported by all GP Providers (Type 1 medical practitioners) on pensionable pay of £100,000 or more.

We do not need the names of individual GPs, or any details that might identify them.

Please also provide the NHS Region in which they operate.

A copy of the information is attached. Please read the below notes to ensure correct understanding of the data.

• All medical GP’s have been assessed (Locum, Principle and Assistant). GDPs (Dental) have been excluded.

• TPP data is only available where we have received an annual update. For info in regard to GP employments

o 16,781 posts are missing a 2019/20 update

o 22,632 posts are missing a 2020/21 update

o 32,277 posts are missing a 2021/22 update

(members will be counted in each pot; if they are missing a 2020 update, by default they are all missing a 21 and 22 update)

• In the event of a GP having multiple employments for the same employing authority (EA) in the same year, the TPP have been summed

• NHS Region has been provided where we hold it; for some employing authority’s this is Unknown to us

• Members may be listed in the same year multiple times, if they have employments with different EA’s in the same year.
