How many people are currently receiving an annual pension from the National Health Service Pension Scheme which is higher than thirty three thousand pounds, fifty thousand pounds, and one hundred thousand pounds, before tax or any other deductions? Please include those reaching or having reached the normal scheme pension ages, pensions paid to dependents, surviving spouses or civil partners, and eligible children, ill-health retirement pensions, and pensions paid to former spouses, civil partners of NHS Pension Scheme members as part of pension sharing or divorce orders made by courts? Please provide annual pensions for the three annual pensions outlined above for the years 2015, 2018, 2020, 2022 and 2023?

• The data reflects only those members in receipt of benefits as at 27/10/2023, it does not reflect all the benefits in payment in the respective year, as some of those benefits may have since ceased.

• Not all members in receipt of benefits at 27/10/2023, will have been in receipt of benefits in previous years

• All those with an annual rate under £33k are omitted from the provided data as requested

• The pension rate is based on what the rate in payment was for each member at the respective scheme year end (31/03). It does not necessarily mean the member received that amount of money for the previous 12 months or went on to receive it for the following 12 months, as rates can change throughout the year.
