Please provide the minutes of the meeting and any other relevant information, such as background papers or emails or other communications relating to the decision being made to withdraw the service of sending out reminders to anyone whose NHS prescription prepayment certificate was expiring. I have searched the publication scheme and previous requests and am unable to find this information.

I am writing to advise you that following a search of our paper and electronic records, I have established that the information you requested is not held by the NHS Business Services Authority.

We have not stopped the process of sending reminders for people with PPCs.

Digital Certificates:

If you have a digital PPC, an email reminder will be sent to the email address you gave when buying the PPC. Renewal reminders are sent approximately one month before your PPC is due to expire.

Paper Certificates:

If you have a paper PPC, you'll only receive a reminder if you purchased a 12-month certificate. The reminder will be sent to the postal address you gave when purchasing the PPC.
