Our response
I can confirm that the NHSBSA holds the information you have requested and a copy of the information and notes explaining it is below.
Please read the below notes to ensure correct understanding of the data.
Question one: how many of the 5012 RSS statements have been sent out?
Cohort 1 comprises 4,076 members, of which 1,741 have received an RSS to date.
Please note, there has been some realignment of cohort allocation based on member status. Cohorts are dependent on member status which may change, for example when a member retires or we are advised they are deceased.
Question two: how many are remaining and of those remaining how many are linked to a pension over-payments?
There are 2,335 members with RSS statements outstanding, of which 454 cases currently indicate a possible overpayment.
Question three: How many of the first cohort with pension over-payments have been issued?
18 members of Cohort 1 with an overpayment have had their RSS issued
Question four: have any of the other cohorts RSS statements been issued if so how many in each cohort?
Outside of Cohort 1, a further 4,889 members have been issued their RSS. A detailed cohort breakdown is provided below.
