With Regards to the Mcleod Remedy statements (RSS) out of the first cohort of 5012 that should have been completed by 01/07/25

Q1 how many of the 5012 RSS statements have been sent out ?

Q2 how many are remaining and of those remaining how many are linked to a pension over-payments?

Q3 How many of the first cohort with pension over-payments have been issued?

Q4 - have any of the other cohorts RSS statements been issued if so how many in each cohort?

if the answer to Q4 is a number , why has cohort 1 not yet finished?'

I can confirm that the NHSBSA holds the information you have requested and a copy of the information is attached.

Please note, some members may have moved between cohorts since previous Freedom of Information publications because their circumstances may have changed. For example, they claimed the remainder of their benefits before the RSS was issued.

As of 27 February 2026, the data shows the following:

There are 4,073 members in cohort 1. 1,805 have been sent an RSS, leaving 2,268 that are still awaiting an RSS.

Of the 2,268 members, 486 are shown as having an overpayment.

Overall, 28 members in Cohort 1 with an overpayment have had their RSS issued.

Attached is the total number of members in each Cohort, and how many RSS statements have been sent for each.
