Our understanding is that Trusts report LCAD data as part of their Commissioning Data Set submissions. Please could you confirm the following:
1) In relation to Ophthalmology, which Trusts are currently (based on the most recent set of complete data you have access to) submitted LCAD data?
2) Is the data that is submitted done at specialty level (e.g. ophthalmology, or at sub-specialty level e.g. glaucoma, cataracts etc)
3) How regularly is the data submitted?
4) Who is the data routinely shared with and/or accessible to?
5) Please could you share LCAD data in relation to ophthalmology (at both specialty and sub-specialty where available) by provider for each month for the last year? If the data is collected weekly, please feel free to share that or a sub set of it (e.g. the first week of each month for the last year) if easiest.
