I am requesting, as a Freedom of Information request, that you provide contact details for the senior executive at NHS Pensions. And that these contact details work (unlike the email address for Michael Brodie provided before). I need this because the pensions complaints team has, repeatedly in violation of NHSBSA protocol, refused to escalate my IDR1 to IDR2 after more than eight weeks after it had been submitted
The NHS Business Services Authority (NHSBSA) received your request on Friday 30 May 2025
We have handled your request under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 (FOIA).
Our response
There is no senior executive at the NHSBSA specifically for the NHS Pension Scheme. The Head of Service for NHS Pensions, Chris Calise, reports directly to the NHSBSA's Associate Director of Workforce Services, Alison O'Brien, who reports to the Chief Operating Officer, Brendan Brown.
Brendan Brown is a member of the NHSBSA's executive team, and his email address is brendan.brown@nhsbsa.nhs.uk
In order to help address your concerns, we have shared your FOI request with our NHS Pensions Customer Experience Team. The team is investigating your case based on the information you have provided. If you want to progress your case to IDR2, you can contact the team at: pensionscustomerexperience@nhsbsa.nhs.uk
