Hi, I'm looking to do a dissertation analysing political impacts on healthcare. I was wondering if there is a data source where you can see whether a prescribe drug was ever dispensed (as some kind of measure of patient concern about said drug). No worries if this is not available! Oliver Norbury

We don't think that the specific data that you would require is available and certainly we wouldn't know specifically about the reasons items were prescribed but not then dispensed.
