Thank you for your request for information about the following:
Request
‘I would like to request the monthly prescribing data for all prescriptions of a 3g oral dose of amoxicillin (either a 3g sachet or sugar free powder, or 6 x 500mg tablets/capsules of amoxicillin) and a 600mg oral dose of clindamycin (either 4 x150mg tablets/capsules or 2 x 300mg tablets/capsules) in England by dentists, GPs, nurse practitioners, pharmacists and others for the period from January 1998 through April 2008.’
The NHS Business Services Authority (NHSBSA) received your request on 12 February 2026.
We have handled your request under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 (FOIA).
Our response
I am writing to advise you that following a search of our paper and electronic records, I have established that the information you requested is not held by the NHSBSA.
Advice and assistance
The data we hold in ePACT2 only goes back as far as 2014. There may be a small amount of data for February 2008 to March 2008 within the Prescription Cost Analysis (PCA) data, but this is only to ICB level and not prescriber:
